Mastenbroek 30/20 Trencher

Capable of trench digging depths between 0.3m and 2.4m. 21 tonnes,  Powered by a Cummins 250kw (350hp) engine. Features include pivoting digging unit, auger spoil discharge system, independent hydrostatic track drive, pipebox for accurate drainage pipe installation, chain drive by direct coupled low speed high torque motor, pressurized cabin with heating, noise reduction, oscillating tracks, hydraulic gravel hopper, laser graded control systems and various pipe reel and pipe guide configurations.

Barth Holland K171 Trencher

Capable of trench digging depths up to 2m.  18 tonnes, powered by 250hp Deutsche engine.  Ideal for most drainage schemes.  Operated by Ex-Barth Demonstrator.    Features include auger spoil discharge system, pipebox for accurate drainage pipe installation, oscillating tracks, laser graded control systems and various pipe reel and pipe guide configurations.

Barth Holland K141 Trencher

Capable of trench digging depths up to 2m.  14 tonnes, powered by 120hp Volvo engine.  Ideal for more restricted areas of drainage due to size of machine.  Operated by Ex-Barth Demonstrator.  Features include auger spoil discharge system, pipebox for accurate drainage pipe installation, oscillating tracks, laser graded control systems and various pipe reel and pipe guide configurations.

Mastenbroek CT-12 Tracked Stone Cart

Used for backfilling of trenches during drainage schemes.  Very robust and can discharge by means of a hydraulically slewable forward conveyor and by conventional tipping for bulk transportation.  Powered at 164kw (220hp) at 2200rpm.  Stone bin capacity of 15 tonnes.  Features include oscillating suspended (sprung) trackframes, 3 conveyor system discharge, 180º degree swing front conveyor, high tracking speed, independent variable hydrostatic trackdrive, pressurised liftable cabin with heating, air-con and noise reduction,  and reversing camera.

2 x JCB 3cx

We have 2 of the widely used JCB 3CX Backhoe loaders.  These are capable of digging to depths of 5.4m and has ground reach of 6.5m.  Complete with various sized backhoe buckets.  6 in 1 front operational bucket with forklift attachments.

2 x New Holland Tractor – Complete with sidedelivery Stone Cart and Front Blade

Used for the backfilling process of gravel.  Complete with wheeled stone bin with capacity of 8 tonnes.  Gravel is transferred into trench via side delivery conveyor.  Tractor is also complete with front Albutt  blade, used for backfilling of spoil excavated from trenching process.

Caterpillar Challenger MT 765 Tractor – Complete with side delivery rubber tracked Stone Cart

Used mainly during heavy wet conditions due to high power and rubber tracks on the tractor.  Comes complete with custom made stone bin trailer, on rubber tracks with capacity of 12 tonnes.  Gravel is distributed into trench via a side conveyor.  Tractor is capable of creeping in slow gear ideal for precision gravel distribution direct into the open trench or into the trencher hopper during backfilling process.

Volvo EC140LB 360º excavator

A 360º excavator powered by a 98hp Volvo engine.  Capable of excavating depths to 16ft and has ground reach of 25ft.  Complete with quick hitch and various buckets for all excavation works.  Has a low ground pressure of 5psi.

4 x Mitsubishi LD1000 rubber tracked Stone Carts.

These stone carts have been custom changed to suit our working conditions.  Each one has a large stone bin at the rear with a capacity of 8 tonnes.  Gravel is distributed via a side conveyor, either direct into the open trench or via the hopper on the trencher.  They are ideal for backfilling on Cross Country Pipeline projects when tougher conditions and terrain dictate.

By having our own Arctic and Low Loader trailer, allows us to transport our plant to and from different locations.

Scania R380 Tipper

By having our own tipper, allows us to haul gravel to different locations.  Locations in areas situated near quarries, allows us to reduce the cost of gravel per tonne, enabling us to pass this saving on to the customer.  Trailer has a capacity of 20 tonnes.

Materials

We take pride in selecting only the very best quality suppliers for all our material needs.  We only use products that carry a Registered Kite Mark, or other industry approved material.  Samples of materials are more than welcome to be seen before installation.
